Saturday Sketch Challenge

Happy Labor Day Weekend! We hope you’re not laboring, but rather soaking in the last of the Summer sun and sipping on some iced tea while stamping!! And on this week’s Sketch Challenge, we are back to our sketches. We don’t have a theme this week because there are just so many holidays coming up, we figure any of them would be great!

The sketch is brought to us by Pam, of the PAMpered Stamper Blog:

And here is Pam’s card using her sketch:

She used the Costume Kids Perfectly Clear Stamp Set, the Cats & Bats Class A’Peel Stickers and the Bat Chain Class A’Peel Stickers.

And for even more inspiration, here’s Rachel (the Gingerbread Gal)’s take on this week’s sketch:

Rachel used our Fun in the Sun Perfectly Clear Stamp set.

And we’d like to congratulate last week’s winners! The challenge was to use embossing powder.

Tweet card, Lynda!!Her card is an example of a simple and chic way to emboss by stamping blocks with the watermark pad and embossing them different colors. Very trendy!! She used the Merlot Embossing Powder Kit and Tweet Cages Perfectly Clear stamps. You have to see all the rest of her snazzy card on her Flickr photostream, too!

And we’d also like to congratulate Melissa!

She made this sophisticated card and we just love how it came out! She used the oh-so popular Ruffled Bloom stamp and White Embossing Powder. Her card turned out so lovely! To see how she did it and see what other pretty projects she’s made, check out her on Flickr.

  1. Oops! The short week got away from me! I had a card idea, I stamped my image, colored it…..but never got my card assembled! These short weeks pass by quickly!

Oh well! I’ll play along next week!
