Catching Up!

We’re still trying to play catch up here in our offices at Stampendous! Building a new website can be quite a challenge. But it’s finished! And we’re celebrating with our newest catalog products from our April 2014 Catalog.

Our Design Team is giving you a Sneak Peek of our newest goodies. These beautiful designs for Spring and Summer will blow you away! We’ve added some precision cutting dies to coordinate with our terrific new flower offerings, and our Blossom Beauty stamp is already proving to be a fan favorite in a big way.  We’ve even got a video available already!

If you’d like to view the April Catalog, just click on it here. You can download it, print it, or just enjoy it online as a flippy book where it doesn’t take up any space in your home or on your computer!

Our terrific April products are also now available on our brand new website! Just like always, your orders will be filled by local retail stores using the Shopatron order fulfillment system. It’s such a good way to support small business while shopping online. In many cases you can even pick up the products in the store to avoid shipping charges! You’ll find all the newest goodies under the What’s New Icon at!

You’ll be seeing a lot of the April Catalog Samples here in the coming weeks, but we asked our Design Team this week to share their favorites with you! Here are the links to those terrific posts. Be sure to leave them some love in the form of your happy comments while you’re there!

We’re most excited about revealing a couple of products we’ve been working on for quite some time…

Stack Art

This fun, easy art form is one of our very favorite things ever! Pre-cut, kraftboard shapes coordinate with pre-cut adhesive sheets and all sorts of fantastic elements to create fun, funky, simple. elegant, pieces of art. You can apply your most advanced and creative techniques to this product, or take it right out of the package and make something wonderful. Adaptable to all levels of crafting skill and experience. We are in LOVE! There are stamp sets to complement these kits that are a terrific value in themselves, and Elements Kits of glitters and things that work with “sticky stuff” create endless possibilities. Wait until you try it! Check out the introductory video HERE – (we’re editing more great videos as fast as we can)

Creative Palette

We love monoprinting! Once you get started you can’t stop, and the endless variations are absolutely enthralling. We wanted our own solution for this, and the Creative Palette was born. It’s sturdy, durable, easily cleanable, and can be stored in any position in its snap-tight container. The huge variety of printing mediums and surfaces makes this truly an endless artform. You’ll see a lot of this terrific product in our future! Check out our quick video HERE – more on the way!

It’s Time for the 2014 Challenges!

Live Creatively by Suzanne Czosek

Our 2014 Challenges have been posted. The January Challenge – A New Year is active now and you can link your projects from the Typing Elements linky tool within the Challenge Page or in the Sidebar at the right. Challenges run from the first Friday of the month until the last Thursday of the month.

The link at the very top of our blog page will take you to the challenges all year. That’s where you’ll check for upcoming themes, winners, and to visit all the great inspiration and samples we’re posting.

Of course there are prizes! Each month we’ll offer a terrific prize of Stampendous products for the randomly chosen winner of our monthly challenge. Everyone can enter, but only those with a U.S. Mailing address can win (this includes Territories of the U.S.) We’re sorry, international folks, but the high cost of shipping and international customs fees make it just too prohibitive to send our products outside of the US for prizes. We do want to see your art, though!

You can check out the Official Rules  and then show us your best work! We’re so excited!

Stampendous and Clearsnap Blog Buddies

This week we’re showcasing projects that feature Clearsnap’s extensive range of inks and other stamping accessories. Their coloring options produce marvelous results with our stamps and embossing powders, and our Design Teams will be really showing off their stuff! We have some super fun projects to share with you.

Clearsnap® has recently released a line of permanent inks called ColorBox™ Surfacez. With 12 brilliant colors and refills available, we have had some serious fun with these products. Our own Fran Seiford created this mixed media panel by stamping on canvas fabric with the Surfacez ink and our  SSC1177 Butterfly Charms Perfectly Clear Stamps™ Set and our Plume Portrait stamp. A bit of Encrusted Jewel Technique with our Purple Encrusted Jewel Technique Kit really finishes off this piece.
