Here at Stampendous visitors always say, “You must have so much fun working here!” Okay…yeah…WE DO! Here’s a sneak peek at how we spent our St. Patrick’s Day this year along with a couple of fun cards for you!

After we feasted on corned beef and cabbage for lunch, our Graphics Coordinator invited her husband, a Scottish Bagpiper, to come and give us a quick concert. You’ll love it, because you also get a secret glimpse of the Stampendous warehouse! We really enjoy the family-friendly and fun atmosphere here at Stampendous. Maybe that’s why we make such happy and cute stamps! We hope your St. Paddy’s Day was as fun as ours!

Recipe for Just Because Mum Card (card designed by Debi Hammons):

Stamps:

• SSC1003 Mum Messages Perfectly Clear™ Stamps from Stampendous
• SSH34 Medium Acrylic Handle

Ink:

• SP080 Frost White ColorBox® Pigment Ink
• STF082 Onyx Black Versafine® ink
• STN442 Lime Versacolor® ink

Plus:

• EP100 White Embossing Powder by Stampendous
• GX220U Multi Ultra Fine Crystal Glitter by Stampendous
• Patterned Paper and Felt Ric Rac by American Crafts
• Bazzill Basics card stock in Kachina, Patina, Parakeet and Tink Pink
• 2 _” scalloped circle punch
• 1 5/8” circle punch
• 1” circle punch
• Glue pen
• Paper adhesive
• FZ10 Sticky Squares Dimensional Foam

Instructions:

1. Fold an 8 _” X 5 _” panel of Patina card stock in half to form card base.
2. Stamp various mums in white ink on Kachina, and Tink Pink scraps and sprinkle with white embossing powder. Remove excess powder and return to jar.
3. Heat set embossing powder with embossing heat tool.
4. Cut narrow strips of parakeet and patterned papers to form flower stems.
5. Arrange stems on 4” X 5 _” piece of white card stock and glue in place.
6. Stamp leaves on sides of stems in lime ink.
7. Use felt ric rac for one of the flower stems.
8. Attach flowers above stems with adhesive or Sticky Squares.
9. Stamp greeting in open spot on white card with black ink.
10. Apply glitter to flowers and leaves with glue pen, returning excess to jar.
