Stampendous Sketch Challenge

Stampendous Sketch Challenge #7 comes from Jennie Dove at Just4FunCrafts.com. Jennie is one of our incredibly talented Design Team Members, we’re so glad to have her dynamic brand of stamping and her unique look.  Just take a look at the adorable Bee Happy Topper card below.

Her sketch this week cuts the main image into four equal squares. What a fun look! Remember there are two prizes for each challenge. Post your project on your blog or a website like http://www.PaperCraftPlanet.com or www.splitcoaststampers.com
and send us the link in the comments section. We’ll choose a random winner and one for the best use of Stampendous products.

Here is Jennie’s inspirational card for the week. You’ll also love the cards of these Stampendous Design Team members:

Sketch Challenge 6 produced some of our favoritest cards ever!!! Who knew you guys would do Circle Cards so well? Everybody did an amazing job with color and maintaining a theme. Carol’s Poppies (available only at Archiver’s for the moment) are so beautifully colored, and her amazing poppy paper is such a beautiful addition to the card. The little dog set Melinda used is a Stampendous favorite, and using the leash for the horizontal element on the card was just downright clever. And Deloris sent in two submissions this week, Fluffles, stalking a snail, and Changito going bananas.
Our use of http://www.random.org generated Carol’s Poppy Bottle card as a winner!
Our Art Director, Lisa Hindsley, chose Deloris’ Fluffles card because:

there are so many wonderful round things in it, that echo the round shape of the card. Fluffles is a ball, the snail is a ball, each flower has multiple round shapes…and the silk daisies are round. A well rounded card!” What a bunch of projects this week! Keep up the good work! I know you don’t want more competition, but we’d just love it if you’d each encourage a friend or two to participate! We’ll have prizes out to the winners pronto!

Celebrate Flag Day!

We would like to celebrate Flag Day, which is on June 14th and commemorates the adoption of the US flag, by sharing this cute Biker Bee card and its recipe. And on the topic of being patriotic, we hope you remember to send us your “Cards for Heros“. Up until July 4th, 2009, we will be collecting any birthday cards you send us so that soldiers serving overseas may have birthday greetings to send back home to husbands, wives, kids, mothers, fathers, friends and other loved ones. And we will share our very favorites on this blog! Mail any cards you’d like to donate to:
