We’re still celebrating Clean And Simple Christmas cards here at Stampendous.

Tomorrow, though, we have a yummy surprise for you!! We have a special collaboration this week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, so don’t miss all the fun!! ssssh…it’s a secret! (ok no, it’s not…tell ALL your friends!!)

Remember to enter your CAS holiday cards (yes, any holiday is eligible) by clicking on the Felinus button at the right and adding the link to your card. You’ll be entered to win some fantastic Stampendous products!! Like always, if your card contains Stampendous images it will count double.

Here’s another great example from our in-house designer Debi Hammons. You can find all the products to make this card at your local Michaels Stores!

Debi used our Forest Santa and our Cling Jumbo Snowflakes to make this fantastic card. The snowflakes in red and green are so striking and unexpected. What a simple, delightful greeting for Christmas.  Now run to Michaels, get these goodies, and show us your stuff!

Clean and Simple – Christmas Inspiration

Here at Stampendous we make some really fun holiday images for everyone. But our first stamp ever made was our Jesus is the Reason for the Season stamp. It has remained in our line continuously until we replaced it last year with one that had a more updated script

We have always remembered the reason for Christmas. We want to share with you a couple of fantastic and VERY simple cards made by our in-house Sample Artist Debi Hammons that will help you share this inspiration if that’s your Holiday Style.

This first card is super simple! Two stamps, two pads,  and some tiny red brads. You could do this in any colors you like and have a beautiful, simple message to send this year. This card uses our new stamp First Christmas and one of our returning classic stamps Manger Scene. Both stamps are also available in Cling Rubber.

If you like to add a bit of Fran•táge to your cards, here’s another version of this card featuring a bit of Fran’s Encrusted Jewel Technique. Here Debi used just a little bit of Aged Gold Embossing Enamel in the corners and heated it from underneath.

All of these stamps are available at Michael’s Stores this season as well as on our website and from many of our fantastic retailers. We hope you can find something simple and beautiful that puts the true Spirit of Christmas into your hear this year!

CAS Christmas Cards all Month

Our challenge to you this December is to make a Clean and Simple Christmas Card and enter it in our contest (of COURSE we’ll accept your other card-sending, December holidays!!) All you need to do is create a CAS card and click on the Cattus Librum link below or to the right and add the link to your card or cards. They’ll even count double if you use Stampendous image stamps! (yes, we know your favorite “Merry Christmas” is Stampendous… but we want you to use our images, too!) Let’s look at some super simple ideas from our Design Team for your holiday stamping this year! It’s not too late to get these fantastic images from our website!

First up, an adorable card by our own in-house Sample Artist Debi Hammons. Debi made this card for Michaels Stores, and you can only buy this adorable Snowman Couple at Michaels (unless your LSS has one from last year). You might want to run out speedy quick to your local Michaels and pick them up.Jumbo Snowfall Pair by Debi Hammons

Super cute, super simple – some fun cutting dies and some markers and WOW…  your relatives are calling you to apologize for sending that store bought greeting to you! DT member Taylor Usry created a fantastic project here using our Snow Globe Kiddo Perfectly Clear stamp!

Coordinated Kiddo Tearing it up!

It’s takes coordination and Core’dination to skateboard like a Kiddo!

Our own in house designer, Debi Hammons, created this Skateboard Kiddo birthday card during our Core’dination Blog Hop- and it’s just so darned cute! Even though the hop is over, we had to show it to you just for fun. We love the way Debi tore the paper revealing the Krafty inner core, and we also love that she used our Crushed Glass Black Glitter to create a little asphalt for the Kiddo to scrape up!

Saturday Coordination with Core’dinations!

Jumbo Cardinals with Core’dinations by Lisa Hindsley

Here’s Lisa’s Supply List:

CRS5038 Jumbo Cardinals, Core’dinations TH card stock, Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel, VersaMark Watermark Ink, StazOn Timber Brown Ink, Colored Pencils and Sand Paper.

Lisa started by sanding the card stock for a rustic look and stamped the image with Timber Brown Ink. The key was to use the color of the card stock to match each bird, so she used the red paper for the male cardinal and the Coconut Cream for the female. She stamped two images (one in each color), then tore the paper and pieced it together to show off the rustic look of the torn edges. Of course it wouldn’t be Stampendous if we didn’t Fran•táge a little bit, so she also added a bit of the Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel as a dusting of snow for these lovely winter birds. She also used our Scrolled Seasons stamp to finish off the inside, and had a lot of fun tearing paper and creating a flurry of snow with a small round brush (no adhesive was used to make the swirl), and heating the whole thing from underneath.

Continuing Coordination with Core’dinations

Well, it’s Friday of our Core’dinations Collaboration week, and we’re seeing so many absolutely Stampendous! projects! Everything has been so inspirational, and we hope you’re enjoying it as much as we are!  Do be sure to join us tomorrow when everybody will have a different project to show, and we’ll be doing the comfy jammies, warm kitty hop thing again.

Today’s sample comes from our in-house designer Debi Hammons. It’s a beautiful card using our Jumbo Pine Bough stamp set. The torn Kraft Core at the bottom just coordinates so beautifully with the color at the top. Love how Core’dinations has made paper sets that give such simple and easy elegance.

We’re also sharing with you this week some art from our unsung hero, our In House Sample Artist, Debi Hammons. Debi has been with Stampendous for 5 years and she makes all of the sample boards and projects you see in stores around the country. She works closely with our Sales Department to design classes for retail stores and trade shows so that folks can learn to use our amazing products. We just adore her simple, duplicatable style, and her flair for showing our products at their best. Today we’re showing another of her doable Christmas card ideas featuring our  adorable Special Delivery deer and our Christmas Background. Debi has added a bit of Bronze Crushed Glass Glitter at the bottom to ground the image and add some bling.
